Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder who resigned from the company in the mid-1980s and returned a decade later to make Apple one of the most successful technology companies in the world, died on Oct 5, 2011. His accomplishments liken him to Thomas Edison and others as one of History’s greatest inventors/innovators.
